Rams integrate Trent McDuffie, Myles Garrett, and Aaron Donald into defense

The Los Angeles Rams added Trent McDuffie, Myles Garrett, and Aaron Donald to their defensive unit during the offseason. McDuffie joined the team via trade in March, followed by the acquisition of Garrett several months later. The roster construction concluded when Donald opted to come out of retirement to rejoin the organization. General Manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay executed the acquisitions of the three players, who previously competed for the Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns, and the retired ranks respectively. McDuffie noted that the assembly of such defensive talent appeared unlikely prior to the roster moves. The combined unit now features a group that includes multiple Super Bowl winners and recipients of the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award.
