Rutgers athletic director Keli Zinn details athletic resource progress

Rutgers athletic director Keli Zinn provided an update on the university's resource and NIL standing as the football program enters its 2026 season. Increased corporate partnerships and higher revenue streams have allowed for larger coaching budgets over the past year. Looking ahead, Zinn stated that renovations to SHI Stadium could begin within the next year, with a target completion date set for the 2029 season. Meanwhile, the department continues to evaluate the financial return on potential upgrades to Jersey Mike’s Arena. The school plans to rely on its current indoor practice bubble for training, which Zinn described as adequate for athlete development despite lacking the status of a dedicated indoor practice facility.
