Scott McVey rallies to win the Tannenhauf Men's Club Championship

Scott McVey claimed the Men's Club Championship title at Tannenhauf Golf Club in Lexington Twp. following a two-day competition that concluded on August 9. McVey trailed by four strokes after the opening round but rallied to secure the victory with a two-day total of 153. Ken Kuhlmann finished as the runner-up with a total of 156. In the regular flight, Rodney Blakeman recorded a 156 to finish two strokes ahead of a three-way tie for second place consisting of Craig Crislip, Dave Drumm, and Kevin Gowen. The Senior Club Championship featured a sudden-death playoff between Randy Wilburn and Scott McKee after both players finished regulation tied at 156. Wilburn captured the title on the first playoff hole.
