The Seattle Seahawks enter the 2026 NFL season with Sam Darnold leading an offense under the direction of first-time coordinator Brian Fleury. Following the departure of Klint Kubiak, head coach Mike Macdonald appointed Fleury to oversee a system emphasizing movement, versatility, and new formations. While the team maintains a roster capable of remaining competitive in the NFC, the transition to this scheme creates questions regarding consistency and timing. Darnold must establish chemistry with his receiving corps and offensive line to execute the concepts under pressure. Success for the Seahawks depends on how quickly the unit adapts to these changes compared to the previous approach. If the offense achieves synchronization, the team aims to build on recent momentum and contend for a playoff spot.
