St. Thomas Aquinas varsity squads recorded multiple victories on Wednesday, Sept. 9. In Division II girls soccer, Fiona Nolan and Lucy Broom scored to secure a 2-0 win over Merrimack Valley. The St. Thomas boys soccer team also moved to 3-0 in Division III following a 12-0 victory against Somersworth behind four goals from Conall Ciaschini. Elsewhere in the Seacoast, Portsmouth golfers secured a four-team Division I win at Pease Golf Course with a team score of 185, led by Grey Gagnon’s 2-under-par 33. Dover girls soccer and Winnacunnet field hockey also picked up wins, with both programs earning shutouts to maintain their respective standings. Several local volleyball teams, including Somersworth, Oyster River, St. Thomas Aquinas, and Portsmouth Christian, concluded their matches with 3-0 sweeps.
