Texas Tech coach Joey McGuire comments on USC attendance after low turnout

Extreme heat in Los Angeles, which reached a heat index of 110 degrees, was cited by the school as a primary factor for the empty seats. Texas Tech is scheduled to host Abilene Christian on September 5, with the university reporting that tickets for the 60,229-seat venue have already sold out for the evening kickoff.
