Three Rivers and Sturgis lose Wolverine Conference football games on Friday

Three Rivers and Sturgis both suffered losses in Wolverine Conference football action on Friday. Otsego secured a 36-28 victory over Three Rivers after a 16-point fourth-quarter performance, overcoming a brief lead established by the Wildcats. Aden Clemmons scored twice for Three Rivers, including a 53-yard interception return and a 41-yard touchdown reception from Rylan Corte. Elsewhere, Sturgis fell 49-7 to Edwardsburg. The Trojans struggled to generate offense, managing only 192 total yards compared to 570 by the Eddies. Beckett Lamb provided the lone Sturgis score with an 87-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. The loss moves Sturgis to a 1-2 record on the season.
