The golfer entered a no contest plea to reduced charges of reckless driving and refusal to submit to a lawful test stemming from a rollover crash in March. The court also ordered Woods to pay $1,500 in fines alongside additional attorney fees and costs. Judge Darren Steele stated the suspension is intended for public safety and noted that any violation would result in immediate jail time. Woods has not competed professionally since the incident, though he remains chairman of the PGA Tour’s Future Competition Committee. The 50-year-old golfer previously announced he was stepping away from the sport to focus on his health.
