Vikings claim Trevor Keegan and Nick Samac off waiver wire

The Minnesota Vikings added interior offensive line depth on Monday by claiming guard Trevor Keegan and center Nick Samac from waivers. The moves follow the team's roster cutdown day over the weekend. Keegan, previously with Dallas, recorded the fourth-best offensive grade among guards during the preseason. Samac, who spent time with Carolina, finished the preseason with the top offensive grade among all centers. Neither player was among the cuts made by Minnesota, allowing the team to retain its existing camp prospects for potential practice squad assignments. Both additions provide reinforcements following their respective departures from other NFL rosters.
