Wayne Hills defeats Northern Highlands in Super Football Conference opener

Wayne Hills opened its Super Football Conference Liberty Red Division schedule with a 21-15 victory against Northern Highlands on Sept. 4. The win moves the Patriots to a 2-0 record on the season while Northern Highlands falls to 0-2. Wayne Hills maintained possession and extended drives by successfully converting multiple fourth-down opportunities throughout the contest. Quarterback James Wolf secured the win by converting a fourth-down attempt in the final minute, allowing the team to run out the clock. Earlier in the second quarter, Rapoport converted a fourth-and-inches play to set up a touchdown, and Wolf later connected with St. Paul and Van Hook for scoring plays to establish a lead. The victory marks the second win of the season for Wayne Hills.
