Yan Diomande has officially joined Real Madrid from RB Leipzig in a deal valued at €140 million including add-ons. The 19-year-old winger previously played for Leganes before his one-season stint in the Bundesliga, where he earned the Rookie of the Season award. Diomande credits his formative years in Abidjan and his development at the DME Academy in Florida for shaping his professional career path. Now settled at the club's Valdebebas training base, he is adapting to the high standard of play alongside teammates Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe. The Ivorian international expressed that his time in Germany provided the competitive foundation necessary for his move to the Spanish capital.
