Aspen Moolenaar signs with Franklin College for track and field

Track & FieldAspen Moolenaar, a recent graduate of Pioneer High School, has signed to compete in track and field at Franklin College, an NCAA Division III program. Moolenaar expressed excitement about the opportunities ahead and the support from the coaching staff. She recently faced challenges in her season, finishing 10th in the pole vault and 14th in the 300-meter hurdles at the Lafayette Jeff Regional. Despite not reaching her personal best this year, Moolenaar holds multiple school records and plans to focus on pole vaulting, hurdles, and sprints at Franklin. Additionally, she will be recognized at the Pharos-Tribune Sports Awards show on June 30, where she is a finalist for multiple awards, including Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year.
