Dale infielder Cruz Garrett commits to the OU baseball program

Cruz Garrett, a junior infielder and right-handed pitcher at Dale, announced his commitment to the OU baseball program on Monday. Garrett previously attended Allen during his freshman year before transferring. During the most recent spring season, he helped Dale reach the Class 2A-I semifinals with a.375 batting average, one home run, and 32 RBIs. On the mound, he maintained a 2.65 ERA and recorded 54 strikeouts over 37 innings. Beyond his baseball contributions, Garrett participated in Dale's state championship basketball run and helped the school reach the Class 2A quarterfinals in the fall. Prep Baseball Oklahoma currently ranks Garrett as the fourth-best player in the state among the 2028 recruiting class.
