David Gabriel Georges leads Baylor past Trinity in Super 25 football game

Tennessee commit David Gabriel Georges powered No. 13 Baylor to a 35-27 victory over No. 19 Trinity on Friday night in Louisville, Kentucky. The Red Raiders trailed by seven points at halftime after a stagnant second quarter but surged ahead during the third quarter. Gabriel Georges recorded 315 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 26 carries, including scoring runs of 15, 75, and 59 yards. Trinity attempted a late comeback behind Buffalo commit Zane Johnson, who threw two fourth-quarter touchdown passes to Jayce Duvall and Kaleb Warner to trim the deficit. Despite recovering an onside kick, Trinity saw its final effort thwarted when Romelle Spearman intercepted a pass and a final Hail Mary attempt fell short. Baylor maintained its momentum to close out the Super 25 matchup.
