Galena volleyball sweeps Liberal in opening match of Galena Triangular

Galena High School improved its overall season record to 5-1 after a straight-set victory over Liberal on Tuesday. The hosting Bulldogs secured the win during the opening match of the Galena Triangular held in Galena, Kansas. Galena controlled the contest from the beginning, finishing the first set with a 25-18 result before clinching the second set 25-22. Weslynn Russell and Rylie Meyr provided the offensive pressure for the home side throughout the match. The event featured Liberal as the visiting opponent in the opening matchup of the triangular format. This result continues a strong start to the season for the Galena squad.
