Georgia Southern wins the Golfweek Fall Challenge at True Blue

Georgia Southern opened its season with a nine-stroke victory at the Golfweek Fall Challenge held at True Blue Golf Club in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina. The team completed the 54-hole tournament at 26 under par, maintaining a lead established earlier in the event despite a late push from runner-up Troy, who finished at 17 under. Georgia State placed third at 9 under. Morgan Blythe and Harrison Sewell led the Georgia Southern roster, each tying for third in the individual standings with a score of 8 under. Tennessee-Martin golfer Drew Williams secured the individual title by finishing at 10 under par. The Eagles now shift their focus to upcoming team-building activities in Atlanta before continuing their season schedule.
