Kaia Castle records 19 kills in Texas A&M loss to Wisconsin

Junior middle blocker Kaia Castle delivered a career-high 19 kills for No. 19 Texas A&M during a five-set loss to No. 6 Wisconsin on Friday at Reed Arena. Castle hit.576 across 33 attempts without a single attack error, providing a bright spot for an Aggies offense that recorded 28 total errors against the Badgers' front line. Wisconsin controlled the net throughout the match, finishing with 17 team blocks to secure a 15-11 victory in the fifth and final set. Despite the loss, Castle’s performance marked a significant offensive contribution for the Aggies as they navigate a challenging nonconference schedule. Texas A&M previously secured a four-set victory over No. 4 Stanford earlier in the week. The team returns to the court Tuesday at 6 p.m. to host SFA at Reed Arena.
