Mendon softball wins Division 4 quarterfinal, heads to MSU finals

Mendon defeated Petersburg Summerfield 8-4 in the Division 4 quarterfinals on June 9, securing a spot in the MHSAA state finals at Michigan State University. This marks Mendon's fourth consecutive appearance in the Final Four, with senior players showcasing leadership and experience. The Hornets jumped to an early lead and maintained control throughout the game. They will face Hillman in the finals, a rematch of last year's semifinals where Mendon emerged victorious. As defending champions, the Hornets aim to repeat their success this year after dethroning Unionville-Sebewaing in 2025.
