The NRL has finalized a seven-year broadcast agreement valued at $5.3 billion with Nine Entertainment and Foxtel. The deal, effective from 2028, will provide annual rights payments of approximately $750 million and sees games broadcast on both free-to-air television and the streaming service DAZN. Peter V’landys, chairman of the Australian Rugby League Commission, called the agreement a defining moment for rugby league. This new contract is set to last until 2034.
