Oakfield-Alabama faces Forestville in NYSPHSAA softball playoff

Oakfield-Alabama and Forestville are currently competing in a NYSPHSAA regional playoff game on June 5 at Gates Chili High School. Oakfield-Alabama, the top-ranked team in the state with a record of 19-1, is coming off a strong playoff performance, defeating Fillmore and Avoca/Prattsburgh. Forestville, ranked sixth in the state and holding a 12-3 record, also has had a dominant playoff run, winning the Section VI Class D playoffs convincingly. The winner of this quarterfinal matchup will advance to the semifinals in Binghamton next week. The first pitch was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. today.
