OU's Ralford Mullings wins discus, Arkansas takes men’s NCAA title

At the NCAA outdoor track and field championships in Eugene, Oregon, Ralford Mullings of Oklahoma won his second straight discus title with a throw of 215 feet, 11 inches, becoming the first athlete in over two decades to achieve back-to-back victories. Arkansas secured its first men’s team title since 2003, finishing with 56 points, ahead of Georgia with 49. Several records were set during the championships, including Alabama’s Samuel Ogazi breaking the 400 meters collegiate record with a time of 43.38 seconds and Jaiden Reid of LSU setting the NCAA record in the 200 meters at 19.63 seconds.
