Tiger Woods pleads no contest to reckless driving charges in Florida

Tiger Woods reached a plea agreement in a Martin County, Florida, courthouse on September 2, 2026, regarding a DUI charge stemming from a rollover vehicle accident on March 27. The 50-year-old golfer pleaded no contest to charges of willful wanton reckless driving and refusal to submit to a lawful test. As part of the resolution, Woods received a five-year suspension of his driver's license and a $1,000 fine. Before the March incident, Woods had been rehabbing from a series of surgeries, including a lumbar spine disc replacement in October 2025 and an Achilles rupture in March 2025. While he previously expressed interest in competing at the 2026 Masters, he has not made any public statements regarding his professional golf future since his accident.
