Trent Fraley receives Michigan State nomination for 2026 Campbell Trophy

Michigan State center Trent Fraley has been named the team's nominee for the 2026 Campbell Trophy. Awarded by the National Football Foundation, the honor recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate a combination of academic achievement, leadership, and on-field performance. The accolade is frequently referred to as the Academic Heisman within college football circles. Fraley joined the Spartans program this season as a transfer from North Dakota State. As the team's nominee, he is now in contention for the national award. Michigan State has not previously produced a recipient of the Campbell Trophy in the program's history.
