Virginia football defeats Norfolk State 59-3 to move to 2-0

Virginia football improved to 2-0 on the season with a 59-3 win over Norfolk State on Friday. The Cavaliers dominated the FCS opponent, utilizing three different quarterbacks to distribute touchdown passes throughout the game. Beau Pribula led the effort by throwing for 162 yards and three touchdowns in the first half alone. On the defensive side, Brandyn Hillman recorded two interceptions and Justin Rowe contributed a pick-six in the closing minutes. The win allowed Virginia to rotate in reserve players for much of the second half. Following this performance, the program now turns its attention to a game against West Virginia next weekend.
