Watford announces departures of key backroom staff members

Watford confirmed the exit of three staff members, including first-team coach Charlie Daniels. Daniels, who previously served as an interim boss, joined the club's coaching staff in 2021 after beginning as an academy coach. Also leaving are Valon Behrami, who worked as an assistant to the sporting director, and Alberto Garrido, who had been with the team since the summer of 2024. Coach Dan Gosling will remain with Watford to support the incoming head coach, Alessio Dionisi.
