Maryland volleyball defeats Arkansas in SEC/Big Ten Challenge

Maryland women’s volleyball defeated Arkansas 3-1 on Wednesday at Memorial gym in Nashville during the SEC/Big Ten Challenge. After dropping the opening set 24-26, the Terps responded by winning a 30-28 second set before securing the match in the final two frames. Freshman Ava Brown led the Maryland offense, while the team’s net defense proved decisive in the victory. The Terps finish the challenge with a 1-1 record after recovering from a loss in their opening match of the tournament. Maryland now returns home to host its next contest at the XFINITY Center Pavilion.
