Patriots place Bryce Baringer on injured reserve and sign Mitch Wishnowsky

The New England Patriots placed punter Bryce Baringer on injured reserve Monday after he sustained an injury during the team's final preseason game. Under league rules, Baringer is required to miss a minimum of four games before he is eligible to return. To bolster the special teams depth, the organization signed punter Mitch Wishnowsky to the practice squad following his release by the Buffalo Bills. The team also moved linebacker Khalil Britt and center Ben Brown off the active roster, while claiming tight end Cameron Latu and linebacker Darius Muasau off waivers. Additionally, New England signed 11 other players to the practice squad, all of whom were part of the club’s final roster cuts.
