Pueblo Central defeats Pueblo Centennial in the annual Bell Game

Pueblo Central secured an eighth consecutive victory in the Bell Game by defeating Pueblo Centennial 43-0 on Friday at Dutch Clark Stadium. The Wildcats established an early lead with first-quarter touchdown runs from Dontez Maes and Sonny Vigil. Maes added a second touchdown in the second quarter, complemented by a score from Cordell Hayes to give Pueblo Central a 30-0 lead by halftime. While Pueblo Centennial struggled to generate consistent offense, the team limited big plays and forced two turnovers during the contest. Pueblo Central moves to 2-1 on the season and prepares for a road game against Pueblo County on September 18. Pueblo Centennial, now 0-3, begins league play at home against Littleton on September 19.
